Christ Ahnsahnghong
As Christians, we have all heard in one way or another about the second coming of Jesus. That is because the Bible contains numerous prophecies about Second Coming Christ—how He will come, when He will come, where He will be born, and even how we can recognize Him. While many think that His second coming will be with fire and the earth will be immediately destroyed, the Bible tells us that Second Coming Christ will first be born in human likeness and give us the way to receive salvation before Judgment Day.
So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Hebrews 9:28
Not only will Second Coming Christ appear in human form on this earth, but He will have a sign to let us recognize Him—the sign of salvation. According to the Bible, He is the only one who can bring the tree of life so we can receive eternal life.
The Tree of Life
After God created Adam and Eve, He commanded them to eat from any tree, except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If they disobeyed God’s word and ate from this tree, they were sure to die. And as we know, Adam and Eve disobeyed and ate from the forbidden tree. For this reason, they became mortal beings and had to face death (Ge 2:16).
However, this is not only Adam and Eve’s story; it is also a representation of everyone living on the earth. We all inevitably will have to face death unless we make desperate efforts to find the cure to live forever.
Then the Lord said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? Then they will live forever!”
Genesis 3:22 (NLT)
God said that if human beings were to eat from the tree of life, we could live forever. This is the solution to death we all desperately need. Nevertheless, God blocked the way for human beings to eat from the tree of life, so only God can grant us access to the tree of life.
Christ Let Us Eat from the Tree of Life
When Christ came to the earth 2,000 years ago, He gave mankind the way to eat from the tree of life.
So Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day.”
John 6:53 (NLT)
Jesus Christ let us know that His flesh and blood give us eternal life. In the Garden of Eden, eating from the tree of life gave us eternal life. Therefore, Christ’s flesh and blood are the tree of life; this is what we must eat to be able to live forever and not face death.
Christ let us eat His flesh and blood through the New Covenant Passover.
Jesus said, “I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins.”
Luke 22:15 (NLT)
And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”
Luke 22:19
Before suffering on the cross, Jesus Christ established the New Covenant Passover, an agreement where He offered His flesh and blood to give His disciples eternal life, as long as they celebrated the Passover. In other words, we can eat from the tree of life and have eternal life through the New Covenant Passover.
Christ Ahnsahnghong Restored the Tree of Life
As we can see through the history of Christianity, the New Covenant Passover was abolished in A.D. 325, and God’s people lost access to the tree of life. This is why Christ promised to return to this earth, in the flesh, and re-establish the Passover.
The New Covenant Passover contains Christ’s flesh and blood. This is why for 1,600 years it remained abolished, until the appointed time of Christ’s return. No one else could re-establish Christ’s flesh and blood on this earth.
In accordance with the prophecies of the Bible, Second Coming Christ came and re-established the Passover in 1948. His name is Christ Ahnsahnghong (Rev 3:12). The sign of salvation was reserved for God alone. This is why millions of members of the World Mission Society Church of God believe that Christ Ahnsahnghong is Second Coming Christ—God incarnate who brought the tree of life to give us salvation.
