Heavenly Mother

Heavenly Mother and the Spiritual Family

Nature reveals God’s invisible attributes to us. The Bible teaches us that God is both our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.

“‘Our Father in heaven’”

Jesus taught us that God is our spiritual Father (Heb 12:9). For someone to earn the title “father,” a man must have a child. We address God as “Father” because we are God’s children.

“‘I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.’”

Can a father alone give birth to children? For children to exist, there must be both a mother and a father. Without a mother, there are no children, and there can’t be a father either. Thus, the title “father” can only be given if there is also a mother.

Our relationship with God reveals that we can’t only have a Heavenly Father; we must also have a Heavenly Mother. The book of Matthew describes the truth about God the Father, and the book of Galatians reveals the truth about God the Mother.

“But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.”

Galatians 4:26

Salvation can be given to us by both God the Father and God the Mother. By believing in Them, we can receive the promise of eternal life and salvation in the last days.
