We’d Love to Hear From You!
Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to learn more about the beliefs and volunteer activities of the World Mission Society Church of God. The main location of the Church of God in Maryland is in Glen Burnie, just outside of Baltimore. We welcome you to participate in any of our volunteer events or Bible education activities.
Bible Education
The World Mission Society Church of God believes in the existence of God the Father and God the Mother. While faith in God the Mother may seem relatively new, it is a belief that can be found in the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. The Church of God is a worldwide non-denominational Christian church that celebrates the New Covenant Passover and the rest of the seven feasts of God. Weekly worship services are held on Saturday in accordance with God’s seventh-day Sabbath law found in the Ten Commandments.
The Church of God encourages members and guests to study the Bible to understand God’s will and to build a relationship with Christ. One-on-one studies are available to those who have specific interests and questions. Eager to share the words of God with others, Church of God members also organize Bible seminars, which involve various topics. Subject matter can range anywhere from God’s commandments to the existence of God the Mother to Second Coming Christ.
We welcome you and your family to join us for a Bible study or to keep the Sabbath day. Please contact us. We’d love to hear from you!
Volunteer Service
Members of the World Mission Society Church of God in Maryland plan a number of volunteer activities throughout the year. The volunteers have held various appreciation events for senior citizens as well as members of the military. The Church also participates in other volunteer initiatives, including blood drives, environmental cleanups, disaster relief activities and campaigns to make people smile.
Volunteer activities happen not only in Maryland but also across the nation and around the world. The Church of God has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award three times for volunteering thousands of man-hours to serving local communities in the United States. For volunteers’ consistent dedication to marine environment protection and disaster relief, the South Korean government presented the Church of God with the Presidential Group Citation. And representatives and volunteers of the Church of God were invited to Buckingham Palace as guests of Queen Elizabeth II. There, the Church of God was presented with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the most prestigious award for organizations in the United Kingdom.
The Church of God in Maryland hopes to bring joy and serenity to its surrounding communities through such volunteer efforts. If you are interested in volunteering with us, just send us a message and we’ll inform you of our upcoming activities.
Thanks, again, for visiting our website. We look forward to hearing from you!
