Q: Is God the Mother in the book of Revelation?
A: Yes, God the Mother is testified in the Bible from the beginning (Genesis) to the end (Revelation). Let’s see the verses in Revelation that clearly testify about Her.
“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ … let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”
Revelation 22:17
Here, the bride offers the water of life. However, a church or God’s people cannot give the water of life. Giving the water of life is something only God can do (Rev 21:6). Then, who is the bride in the book of Revelation?
“‘Come I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.’ And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.”
Revelation 21:9–10
This bride is coming down out of heaven and is called the Heavenly Jerusalem. From this, we can clearly understand this bride is not the church or God’s people. Apostle Paul explained who this bride, the Heavenly Jerusalem, is.
“But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.”
Galations 4:26
Therefore, the Bride in Revelation is the Heavenly Jerusalem who is God our Mother.
